The steps you take to change the Property Name will depend on whether you have a Multi-Property Account or a Singel Property Account.

 

Single Property Accounts:

1. Select “Property Settings” toward the top of the screen, followed by “Basic Information” on the left side of the screen.

 

2. You will see the current property name, which will be un-editable. Next to the name, you will see “Click here to request a change to the property name”. You will need to click on the word “here”.

 

3. A new window will open, allowing you to 



Multi-Property Accounts:

 

1. To get to Property Settings, go to the “Residents” section.

 OR  

 

2. Select the property that you would like to update. The selected property will turn a darker blue, and you will be able to click on the “Property Settings” option found on the right.

 

3. You’ll be taken to a screen with a list of menu options on the left, Be sure you are in the “Basic Information” section.

 

4. You can now update the Property Name and Save the information.

 

Note: Multi-Property accounts also have the option the show the Account Name on documents, rather than the Property Name. If you would like to update this setting you will need to:

1. Go to Account Settings, located at the top of the page.

 

2. Select the “Forms” option from the menu on the right. 

 

3. Click on the box next to “Use Account Name on forms in place of property Name”, then “Save” the changes.

 

 

*Additional Note: The line below the box does NOT impact the name that appears on the documents. This will determine what name and information appear in the subject line for emails that are sent from the account. 

 

You have the option to shoe the property name or the account name. In some cases, you will also have the option to show the Company Name.
