Transferring an Applicant to a different unit.

 

1. Be sure that you are in the “Applicant” section of Tenant Tech. At the top of the page, go to Residents and select Applicants from the menu.



                                 OR 

 

 

2. Locate and click on the applicant’s name. You will then see the applicant’s name and report information on the right side of the page, as well as a menu of actions. Toward the top of that menu, you will see an option to “Edit Property”. Select this option.

 

3. You will see a new window pop up on the screen, which allows you to edit information (if you have the appropriate user privileges to do so). Scroll to the bottom of the window, until you see the drop-down menu that allows you to select a different unit. 

 

4. Before you save the information, be sure to update the rent quote if necessary. Once you have the unit update and you’ve confirmed that the rent quote is correct, then click on the “Save” button. 

 

*IMPORTANT NOTE: If an applicant has already been sent to screening, then you MUST contact customer service to update the rent quoted. You may contact Customer service via live chat or by calling (1-800-535-4701).

 

 

Transferring a Resident to a different unit.

 

1. Be sure that you are in the “Resident” section of Tenant Tech. At the top of the page, go to Residents and select Residents from the menu.

 


                            OR 

 

 

2. Locate and click on the resident’s name. You will then see the resident’s name and unit information on the right side of the page, as well as a menu of actions. Locate and click on the “Transfer Residents” option. 

 

 

3. You will see a new window pop up on the screen, which allows you to use a drop-down menu to select the unit that the resident is transferring to. 

 

 

 4. Once you have selected the appropriate unit, you will be asked to identify if the resident is an incoming resident for the updated or a current resident, for that unit. Once you have done that, then you will need to select the option to “Move”. The resident will then be moved to the updated unit.
