Note: If, while following the instructions, you find that you do not see the options that are provided in the instructions, then this may be an indicator that you do not have user privileges that allow you to access or change that information. You will need to reach out to upper management for assistance.
This article will review Applicant Menu options available in TenantTech. The applicant detail panel can be found in TenantTech on the Applicant's page. Selecting an applicant will prompt the system to display the applicant detail panel on the right.
The Applicant Detail Panel Options
Lifecycle Status- "Still Applying"
The options available on the applicant detail panel are based on what "Lifecyle Status" the applicant is in. In the screenshot below they are "still applying" so the options are limited on what actions can be taken.
Lifecycle Status- "New"
Once the applicant submits their application the Lifecycle Status will reflect as "New" and the applicant details panel will have more actions available.

Print Application PDF
Edit Applicant: This will allow users with permissions to edit the assigned user, rent quoted, unit number wanted, add a note and check off if the screening fee was collected.
Invite Additional Applicant: An option to send an application invitation to a co-applicant directly from the details panel. You would enter in their First & Last Name with their Email Address. They would then receive an email invite to apply.
Notes/Attachments: If an applicant uploads documentation on the application, this is where the documents and attachments will go. This will also be transferred to their resident profile, once they are "Moved In".
Hide Applicant: This could be used to manually remove them from the initial applicant's page, to be a "hidden applicant".
Return to Applicant: Once an applicant submits their application, the application is locked, and they are unable to login to make an edit. They can only edit their application by the site team using the "Return to Applicant" function. The applicant would receive an email to edit their application, allowing them to login and make the adjustments.
Once an application has been submitted, the applicant is unable to change their name, Date of Birth, or Social Security Number. Instead, contact Customer Support for assistance.
Once the application has been returned, and completed by the applicant the Lifecycle Status will be listed as "Updated"
Request Additional Documents: You will select the document types you are requesting the applicant uploads onto their application. They will receive an email informing them of the documents needed, and they can log back into their application to complete the request. This function would only allow them to upload documents, and would not allow to edit information on the application itself.
Request Payment: This would be applicable for an account who accepts payments through an integration with Tenant Tech.
Change Status: Only users with permissions will have the ability to update an applicant status. When you change the status of an applicant, it will have impact on the available options on the applicant detail panel.
Move Into a Unit: When the Applicant has been approved, and the lifecycle reflects this the applicant can be moved into a unit.
Once you select Move into a Unit, you will have an option to move them in as an Incoming Resident, or Current Resident. Both options will allow you to create forms in program.
If your applicant panel has this option grayed out, this means the applicant status must be changed in order for this option to be chosen.
The lifecycle would need to be complete and the screening, and payment status entered in order for the applicant to be "Moved In".
Transfer to Another Property: Please see the link- Transfer Applicant to another property
Issue Applicant Notice: Users with permissions, and in applicable states can manually send an Adverse Action Letter directly through the applicant detail panel.
