This article explains how TenantTech users can send an applicant to screening from within the program. You will learn how to locate an applicant, select Send to Screening, and review key details before submitting, including rent amount, unit number, notes, and screening product.
*Note: This feature is ONLY available to properties utilizing a screening company that is integrated with TenantTech. If your property or company does not use an integrated screening provider, the Send to Screening option may not appear.
Steps on How to Send an Applicant to Screening
1. Hover over Residents Tab.
2. Select the Applicants page.
3. Select the applicable applicant from the list of applicants.
4. From the applicant’s details panel, select the Send to Screening menu option.

5. After selecting the menu option to Send to Screening, a pop-up window will appear, prompting. users to confirm the following information:
- Rent Quoted Amount -- Confirm or enter the quoted rent for the unit.
- Notes -- Allows you to leave notes for screening company.
- Unit Number Wanted -- Confirm that the unit the applicant is applying for is selected.
- Product -- From the drop-down menu, select the screening product and report type that you are requesting from the screening provider.
6. Once all the information has been entered and confirmed, click the Send to Screening button found in the bottom left corner of the window.
